Refund policy
Change of Mind Returns (7 Days)
We offer a 7-day change-of-mind return window. This means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a change-of-mind return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unused, unworn, and in its original packaging (including all accessories, manuals, and inserts). You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, please contact us at support@fishandcheaps.com.au with your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
If your return is approved, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Faulty, Defective or Malfunctioning Items (90-Day Warranty Support)
We provide 90-Day Warranty Support from the date of delivery for items that develop a fault, defect, or malfunction under normal use.
To lodge a warranty claim, you must provide evidence of the issue, including:
- Clear photos of the item (and any affected parts), and
- A short video showing the fault or malfunction in action (where applicable), and
- Photos of the original packaging and any visible damage (if relevant).
Once we receive your evidence, we will assess the claim and provide the most suitable remedy, which may include a replacement, spare parts, partial refund, or full refund, depending on the circumstances.
Damages, Incorrect Items & Issues on Arrival
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us as soon as possible if your item is damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item. Please include photos (and a video if relevant) so we can assess the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including:
- Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants)
- Custom or personalised items (special orders)
- Personal care items where hygiene is a concern (e.g., opened/used personal care goods)
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Gift cards

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have (if eligible) and place a new order for the replacement item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return (if a return is required). If approved, you’ll be refunded to your original payment method. Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to be processed, and additional time for your bank or card provider to post the funds.
